Bernard John STEINKE and Marjorie Theresa BROCKERT were married on 25 October 1952 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Marjorie Theresa BROCKERT, daughter of Matthew BROCKERT, was born on 6 October 1929 in Piqua, Ohio. In the early 2000 years, Margie suffered from several heart attacks. Shortly after making it through that, she found out that she had colon cancer. Surgery was performed to remove part of her colon at that time. Douglas John David STEINKE was born on 4 July 1956 in Lima, Ohio. He died on 2 June 1975 at the age of 18 in Lima, Ohio. Steinke, 18, 424 W. McKibben St., Lima, grandson of Mrs. Francis Steinke,
Botkins, died Monday at 11 p.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital from injuries
received in an auto accident May 9. He was born July 4, 1956, in
Wapakoneta, son of Bernard J. and Marjorie (Brockert) Steinke. They
survive with two sisters and three brothers, Beverly, Kim, Jeff, and
Bruce, all at home, and Greg, U.S. Navy, Newport News, Va., and the
grandmother. The youth graduated in 1974 from Lima Senior High School. He
was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Lima. Services will be Friday at
10 a.m. at the church with burial in Gethsemani Cemetary, Lima. Friends
may call at the Hogenkamp-Murphy Funeral Home, 900 W. Grand Ave., Lima,
Wednesday after 7pm. There will be a vigil service Thursday at 8p.m. at
the funeral home. Douglas was buried in Gethsemani Cemetary, Lima, Ohio. Doug died as a result of injuries received in an auto accident on May 9,
1975. He lingered in the hospital for nearly a month.

Kimberly Sue STEINKE was born on 19 March 1965 in Lima, Ohio. She died on 12 June 1988 at the age of 23 in Lima, Ohio. Died as a result of an aneurism to brain. She died on 12 June 1988 at the age of 23 in Lima, Ohio. Lima News Article, Monday, June 13, 1988 Kimberly S. "Kim" Steinke, 23, of
Lima, died at 2:35 p.m. Sunday, June 12, in St. Rita's Medical Center of
an aneurism. Born March 19, 1965, in Lima, she was the daughter of Bernard
J. and Marjorie T. (Brockert) Steinke, who survive in Lima. Other
survivors include her fiance, Steve Greeley of Lima; three brothers, Greg
J. Steinke of Alexandria, Virginia, Jeff L. Steinke of Lima, and Bruce A.
Steinke of Dale City, Virginia; and one sister, Mrs. Jay (Bev)
Shindledecker of Lima. One brother, Douglas Steinke preceded her in death
June 2, 1975. Miss Steinke was an office secretary for Jeffers Crane and
was formerly employed with the Tilton Corporation. She was a member of St.
Rose Catholic Church and a 1983 graduate of Lima Senior High School. A
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Rose Catholic Church
with Fr. Norbert Howe officiating. Burial will followd in Gethsemani
Cemetary in Lima. Friends may call at the Siferd Westwood Chapel from 7 to
9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A parish scripture
will be read at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Kimberly was buried on 16 June 1988 in Gethsemani Cemetary, Lima, Ohio. She was buried in Gethsemani Cemetary, Lima, Ohio. Kim died due to an aneurism to the brain. She collapsed in the back yard
of her parents home while playing with her nephew, Kyle Shindledecker.
